Digital Marketing Coordinator

Marketing | Connecticut (Hybrid/Flexible) | Part-Time | $18-24 per hour

GroClix is a growing digital marketing and website development company that partners with businesses across Connecticut and beyond. We work closely with entrepreneurs and local companies to help them grow through better websites, marketing strategy, and digital storytelling.


We are looking for a part-time Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to help manage and organize social media marketing efforts for our clients. This role focuses on coordinating content plans, communicating with clients about marketing goals, and ensuring social media campaigns are executed consistently.


This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with businesses, building relationships, and helping brands stay organized and consistent with their online presence.

Client Communication & Planning


  • Communicate with clients monthly to understand upcoming events, promotions, and marketing goals
  • Gather information, photos, and ideas from clients to support their marketing efforts
  • Help translate client goals into organized monthly social media plans


Content Calendar Management


  • Build and maintain monthly social media content calendars for multiple client accounts
  • Coordinate post ideas, themes, and marketing highlights for each business
  • Share content plans with clients and the GroClix team for approval


Content Creation


  • Create simple graphics using Canva
  • Write captions and help develop post ideas
  • Repurpose blog posts, photos, and videos into social media content
  • Assist with short-form video or reel content when available


Scheduling & Publishing


  • Schedule posts across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Ensure content is scheduled consistently and ahead of time
  • Maintain brand voice and messaging for each client


Performance Tracking



  • Monitor engagement and basic performance metrics
  • Assist in preparing simple monthly social media summaries for clients

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is:


  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable communicating professionally with clients
  • Creative and able to develop engaging content ideas
  • Interested in social media marketing and digital storytelling
  • Familiar with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Comfortable using tools like Canva, Google Drive, and scheduling platforms
  • Motivated, reliable, and eager to learn


Marketing, communications, or business experience is helpful but not required.

Job Type: Part-Time
Hours: Between 10-20 hours per week (flexible schedule)
Compensation: $18–$24 per hour depending on experience
Location: Hybrid / Remote with occasional in-person collaboration if local
